Manuscript Types

The journal invites scholarly submissions written in Indonesian or English that contribute to academic discourse and practical developments within the journal's focus and scope. All submissions must represent original, unpublished work that is not under simultaneous consideration by any other journal or publication outlet.

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

1. Empirical Research Articles (Top Priority)

Empirical research articles are primary research reports that present original findings derived from systematic data collection and analytical procedures.

  • Target Content: Original empirical studies utilizing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches based on field data (e.g., questionnaires, surveys, structured interviews, observations, or documentary sources).
  • Core Structure:
    • Title & Metadata: Concise title, full name(s) of author(s) without academic degrees, institutional affiliations, corresponding email address, informative abstract, and 3–5 relevant keywords.
    • Introduction: Written in a single flowing narrative without subheadings. It outlines the research background, statement of the problem, synthesis of relevant literature, clear identification of the research gap, and explicit research objectives.
    • Method: Presented strictly in paragraph form (avoiding bullet points). It comprehensively details the research design, population and sample, data sources, data collection instruments, and data analysis procedures.
    • Results and Discussion: Reports empirical findings accurately using text, tables, graphs, or charts. The discussion interprets the findings, evaluates their practical/theoretical significance, and compares them with relevant previous scholarship.
    • Conclusion: A concise, narrative, and conceptual summary of major conclusions and implications. The use of bullet points or numbered lists is avoided.
    • References: Must strictly follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition style, formatted using reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

2. Review and Conceptual Articles

Review and conceptual articles provide systematic, critical evaluations of current research trends, emerging paradigms, or theoretical developments.

  • Target Content: Critical literature syntheses, bibliometric evaluations, or conceptual framework developments that identify significant knowledge gaps and propose actionable agendas for future inquiry.
  • Core Structure: Title, author metadata, abstract, keywords, introduction (background, theoretical relevance, and scope), methodological approach (search criteria, evaluation protocols, and screening frameworks), thematic discussion/conceptual development, conclusion, and references formatted in APA 6th Edition.
