This study aims to examine the effects of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance at Bank BRI in North Luwu Regency. A quantitative survey approach was employed by distributing questionnaires to 112 respondents. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) with IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results indicate that, partially, transformational leadership had a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, whereas work motivation had a positive and significant effect. The insignificant effect of transformational leadership suggests that employee performance is influenced more by standardized work systems and employees’ motivation than by leadership practices alone. Simultaneously, transformational leadership and work motivation significantly affected employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.649) indicates that the two independent variables explained 64.9% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 35.1% was attributable to other factors beyond the scope of this study.
